How will mobiltiy Training Help me?
Greater Hip ER (External Rotation)=Increased stride length and less stress on the adductors in locomotion
Greater Hip IR (Internal Rotation)=Ability to pull leg back in faster after stride, increasing stride frequency
Greater Ankle Dorsiflexion (Think pulling your toes to your shin)=more force production and power in the stride
Loose hip rotators=less torque on the pelvis, less or no back pain
What you get: A 4 week mobility program consisting of 2 sessions per week, designed specifically to cater to your athletic needs
Greater Hip ER (External Rotation)=Increased hip abduction (extending the leg away from the body) and depth in side splits.
Greater Hip IR (Internal Rotation)=Increased pad flare in the butterfly, when sliding and making 1/2 butterfly saves, as well as increased stability in the RVH.
Greater Ankle Dorsiflexion (Think pulling your toes to your shin)=more force production in T-pushes, shuffles, and butterfly slides.
Greater Hip ER, IR, and Ankle Dorsiflexion all lead to increased speed and power in lateral movements, and help to eliminate that feeling of “being stuck” when trying to extend in desperation saves
What you get: A 4 week mobility program consisting of 2 sessions per week, designed specifically to cater to your athletic needs
“My experience with Aaron has gone well; he pushes you to get better all the time, and is very supportive. Training my hip mobility has unlocked a new range of motion in my hips, and I feel much more loose and flexible on the ice. “
-Sam Laurila, Defenseman U17 USNTDP
“With Aaron’s mobility training programs, I have noticed great progress in my ability to move and change direction quickly. I feel as though my stride length is longer, and I am able to get around the ice much easier.”
-Joe Schiller, Defenseman Cedar Rapids RoughRiders USHL

My Aproach
-
Mobility Development
Mobility refers to the amount of active, usable motion that one possesses. The more mobile a person is, the more they are able to maximize their movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively in sport.
-
Joint Strength
As we improve mobility and movement potential in the athlete, we also strengthen your joints and muscles in those new, extended ranges. This ensures that our athletes can perform in sport from a position of stability, while also increasing injury-resistance
-
Body Control
Specific training of your joints leads to improved function of your Central Nervous System as well as an increased ability to move pain free, in both sport and life.
